Artist Statement

In my art I enjoy manipulating the human form in new and unexpected ways.  It is through this manipulation that I explore the relationships existing between both people and the environments that surround them.  My work is mainly 2-d because I feel that my translation of our 3-d world can be seen more clearly to the viewer.  I began working solely with dry materials but have expanded to paint and collage because I like creating a complex piece of artwork that can be viewed in various ways.
